My Faves List ("we", "us") operates the My Faves List website and app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose; if anything is unclear, email info@myfaveslist.com.
To run the app: display lists to the people you share them with, deliver gift cards, send notifications you've asked for (such as "someone sent you a gift card"), and respond when you contact us. We do not sell your personal information.
My Faves List is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links may set cookies on the retailer's site so the retailer can attribute a purchase to us. This does not change the price you pay.
The app is intended for adults. Students who want to give a gift should do so through a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Data is stored with our hosting provider using industry-standard encryption in transit. We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, and order records for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes.
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
By using My Faves List you agree to these terms.
My Faves List lets people share a list of favorite things and lets others shop for those things or send digital gift cards. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
You are responsible for what you put on your list and for keeping your password private. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Gift-card purchases are charged to your payment card at checkout, including the $4.95 service fee shown before you pay. Gift cards are delivered by email to the recipient as a redemption link. Because gift cards are delivered electronically and can be redeemed immediately, purchases are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by law. If a gift card isn't delivered, contact us and we'll make it right.
"Shop" links take you to retailers we don't control. Your purchases there are governed by the retailer's terms.
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
